Abhilasha Swaroop
Hi! I'm Abhilasha
I’m a Creative Technologist and Designer who lives in the space where "What if?" meets "How do I build that?"
I’ve always been fascinated by how we can use digital tools to tell deeply human stories. This curiosity took me from the Srishti Institute in India to Parsons School of Design in NYC, where I recently completed my MFA in Design and Technology. My practice is built on a "builder" mindset. I don’t just design the look of a system; I build the experience from the ground up.

A Multidisciplinary Toolkit
I speak the languages of both aesthetics and interaction. My experience spans the full creative spectrum:
-
3D Art & Game Design: Creating immersive, "bug-sized" worlds for my thesis, Last Night, where the environment itself acts as the narrator.
-
Visual & Motion Design: Crafting dynamic brand identities and motion graphics for global names like MTV India, IndieCade, and AAMBC Inc.
-
UI/UX & Product: Designing intuitive digital interfaces, focusing on how people actually feel when they move through a digital space.
-
Emerging Tech: Using Google AI Studio to turn scientific data into poetry, like writing love letters to exoplanets.
-
Creative Tech & Branding: Developing comprehensive visual identities that live across physical merchandise and digital platforms.

When I'm not on my laptop:
I paint, make ceramics, play video games, do arts and crafts, and make things like lamps or furniture (I've had superglue on my laptop trackpad since 2019).
